Steel Structure Industry
Pipes and composite profiles
In the increasingly competitive steel structure market, this Malaysian manufacturer sought to enhance efficiency and precision in processing long tubular and hybrid sections. Its existing equipment suffered from inadequate support during cutting operations, resulting in unstable processing, material waste, and limited production speeds—particularly when handling long or heavy-duty tubular sections.
To bolster production capacity, the company adopted AORE's TH Series high-speed tube laser cutting machine. This system features a forward-moving front chuck, enabling the cutting head to operate seamlessly between dual chucks and significantly reducing unsupported tube lengths. Combined with electrically powered dual chucks that securely and intelligently grip round, square, and irregular cross-sections, the TH Series maintains stable precision even during high-speed cutting.
Post-implementation, the manufacturer achieved more consistent cutting performance across diverse pipe diameters and cross-sectional dimensions. The ultra-short scrap design maximized material utilization, while the optional intelligent loading system reduced manual intervention and labor dependency. Ultimately, the factory realized shorter production cycles, lower material waste, and more reliable product quality, securing a significant competitive edge in demanding, time-sensitive markets.
